Fjord Spain opened in Madrid in late 2009 as a response to strong client demand and today we're already captivating leading brands like Telefonica and BBVA with our elegant, simple designs.

Madrid is located at the geophysical centre of Spain, the point zero from which everything emanates. Historically, the culture, tradition, art, and literature of Spain all grew from here. In recent years the city may have been overshadowed by its more beautiful sister in the north east, but there is no doubt that Madrid has come roaring back as a hub of creativity, commerce, fashion, nightlife and cuisine. It is, at the same time, a grand European capital and a collection of intimate and distinct 'barrios' where all manner of life can be found.

“When I was asked to come to Madrid and open our fifth office I didn't immediately jump at the opportunity. After all, the other capitals and world cities that Fjord is located in seem at first glance to be more iconic and appropriate for us. But after just a few weeks I realised what an incredible place Madrid is. It has all the clichés of Spain yet is endlessly fascinating and surprising - it warms you and welcomes you and takes you on a thrilling ride. Our new friends here are eager to benefit from Fjord knowledge and methods, their telecoms and banking businesses are the most efficient and profitable in the world, we intend to make them the best designed as well.”
